Betty was a truly special person who brightened your day if you were lucky enough to spend any time with her. She brought sunshine into so many lives and we will miss her.

So very saddened to hear of Betty's passing. I knew Betty from at least three of the hats she wore so well. As a mother at parent conferences, a friendly face at the Red Balloon, and a conscientious paraprofessional. It was wonderful sharing the day with her as the other adult in the classroom of first graders! She will be missed.

I had the pleasure of growing up with Betty and her family following the Sailing Masters of 1812 where her husband John and my father were members. She was such a joy to be around and spend so much of my youth with. R.I.P.

At the 8:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows, Betty and John would sit at one end of the pew and we at the other end. We will miss seeing her and her grace filled, gentle smile that she always shared with everyone. This photo of her captures it so beautifully and we were so Blessed to be her friend. We are so sorry for your loss. She will never be forgotten♥

To all of Betty's beautiful family; her world, her pride and joy. My thoughts and prayers go out to each of you at this very sad time. Betty was one of our "ladies night out" group and was so much fun to be with. I will cherish those memories always. May all your beautiful memories comfort you in the days ahead.

It is with deep sadness that I extend my sincerest condolences to the entire Johns family. Our family has lost one of the truly good people that God put on this earth. No matter how old we are, we are never ready to lose a parent. They are so much a part of who we are that their loss leaves a void in our lives that is difficult to fill. Take some comfort in the fact that Betty' s love for her family will always be with you. Feel her presence in every day. Let the wonderful memories you have of her sustain you in the difficult days ahead. I have no doubt that all of the Welch girls have welcomed her with open arms and she will be well cared for by all those we've loved who are now part of our Heavenly family. May God grant you peace and comfort in your time of sorrow.

We are so sad to hear that Betty has lost her life....she was a sweet, unassuming and gentle woman who will be missed very much. Remembering her at Martha & Mary luncheons at church is a fond memory of her volunteering spirit to help out whenever she could. May she Rest In Peace.

My sister in law Betty Johns was very special, kind gracious, loving and lived her life with her priorities, Faith, Family and Friends. Memories of her gentle good nature and thoughtfulness to everyone she knew. We met at 17 and 19 and married within 7 months of each other, both married to the Johns brothers for 60 years. Roger and I celebrate her and to quote Roger, "she was a Wonderful woman".
