Thomas F. Keogh of Old Lyme, CT and formerly of Larchmont, NY died on January 27, 2017 at the age of 84. His devoted wife, Cissie (Gano) was at his side. Tom is also survived by three sons Tom, Bill (Andrea), John and daughter Katie Weidner (Doug); ten loving grandchildren and his sister Katherine Anne Gulden. Tom was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Katherine (Devlin) and his sister Mary Elizabeth Kelly. Tom graduated from Cranwell Preparatory School, The College of The Holy Cross and Columbia Law School. He was a principal in Garrison, Keogh & Co., an investment management firm in New York, until his retirement. Tom was committed to his faith, family and friends. He was a Knight of Malta, a trustee of The Lavelle School for the Blind, a member of the Board of Directors of Daytop, a Life Member of The Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick and a devoted volunteer to several other charitable and civic organizations. An accomplished yachtsman, he was a member of The Cruising Club of America, The New York Yacht Club and the Larchmont Yacht Club, where he served as a trustee. He was a national champion in the Shields class and a recipient of the New York Yacht Club Cruising Award. As a resident of Old Lyme, Tom was a member of the Old Lyme Beach Club, The Dauntless Club and he served on The Historic District Commission. A Celebration of Tom's life will be held at the Christ The King Church in Old Lyme on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11:00am. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory to High Hopes Therapeutic Riding; Old Lyme, CT would be appreciated.
