Frank A. Fazzino, age 88, of Killingworth passed away on February 8th at Middlesex Hospital. Frank was the beloved husband of Roeli Altena. He was born in Portland on August 12, 1923 the son of the late Emanuel and Constantina (Milardo) Fazzino. Frank was a retired mason who had worked many years as a member of Union Local #12 in Middletown. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy who served during World War II. Besides his wife Roeli he leaves his children, Frank Fazzino of Portland, and Regina Fazzino of Middletown, eight grandchildren, his sisters, Angelina Grimaldi, of East Haddam, and Mary Brahen of East Hampton. Frank was predeceased by his first wife, Virginia (Sawicki) Fazzino and brothers, Sebastian and Salvatore "Toots" Fazzino and sisters, Josephine Mazzotta and Anna Rositto. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM at the Robinson-Wright & Weymer Funeral Home 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Monday, Feb. 13th. His funeral service will be held at 7 PM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery in Middletown with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, Feb15th at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Shea C. Clark Chapter #7, 156 Prospect St. Middletown, CT 06457.
